Dr Ali Araghi

Dr Ali Araghi is an integrative functional medical doctor. He graduated from Iran in 2001 and has over 16 years of experience in medical practice. He achieved his Fellowship as Specialist General Practitioner from the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2010. He achieved a Fellowship in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from the Metabolic Medicine Institute (United States) and has been practicing Functional Medicine for the past 7 years.

His area of interest includes weight loss, autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, IBS, Crohn’s disease, depression, anxiety, PTSD and allergies. Dr Araghi utilises numerous functional laboratories in Australia and the Unites States to assist with the diagnosis of gut dysbiosis, food allergy and Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) and deploys an integrative approach to these complex medical conditions.

Ali enjoys reading and studying in his spare time. He is passionate about fitness and can be found exercising daily. He is currently a registrar in cosmetic surgery with the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS) and is concurrently completing a fellowship in Aesthetic medicine with the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine (ACAM).

Dr Jit Nath

Dr Nath enjoys all facets of General Practice and has a special interest in surgical procedures, skin cancer treatment and removal. He has a great passion for his patients ensuring he delivers the utmost care to everyone he treats.

Dr Nath graduated from Fiji School of Medicine in 1999. He worked for 3 years in General Practice in Fiji before relocating to Australia in September 2003. During his 15 years in Australia Dr Nath has worked in many areas of medicine including emergency medicine, general surgery, cardio-thoracic surgery and general practice.

In 2010 Dr Nath was accepted into the Formal Surgical Training Program working predominantly in the field of breast, bowel, thyroid and skin cancer. Dr Nath changed his career path from general surgery to focus on General Practice and started working at Sunshine Coast Family Clinic in 2014.

In his spare time he enjoys the simple things in life, especially quality time with his family.

Dr Kiran Varma


Dr Varma enjoys all facets of General Practice, but has a special interest in cardio-metabolic syndrome, weight loss, mental health and men’s and women’s health. He brings a lifestyle and integrative medicine approach to chronic disease management.

Dr Varma completed his training at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He worked in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven and Sydney hospital health districts before working in the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.

Dr Varma is currently pursuing his Fellowship in Metabolic Medicine through the Metabolic Medicine Institute and a Masters in Integrative Medicine through George Washington University under the tutelage of Dr Andrew Heyman.

Socially he enjoys tennis, weight training and walks on the beach with his German Shepherd in his spare time.

Courtney Hackett
Operations Manager

Courtney has over 10 years experience in medical practice and pharmaceutical management. She joined our team in 2016 to oversee the smooth operation of Sunshine Coast Family Clinic and our affiliated Australian Wellness and Cosmetic Institute. Courtney is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys spending her free time training at the gym. She also enjoys mountain climbing on the weekends and afternoon walks by the beach.
